As part of our multilateral and multiannual collaboration with local agencies and support structures, we would like once again to thank the students of the 11th Heraklion High School for supporting children and families who are or are in danger of being in poverty.

The Greek Ministry of Education, Research and Religion Affairs carried the action out following a relevant circular in the context of the actions concerning Eco Schools.

Our school pupils collected food and essentials and placed them under our school's Christmas tree, to deliver them to children and their families who are individually supported with whatever they need (food, school material, clothing and footwear, toys, household items, etc.).

Throughout this endeavor, our School has played an important role, gathering food and other essentials. Our students felt strongly about solidarity and selfless giving as they had the opportunity to see for themselves how important they were. Because love means to offer and be sure that it, returns to the ones they offer...!
